Hey there everyone! We have some new features for this release and a few adjustments made after playtest feedback!
First, the biggest change is the addition of an optional rule. That rule—which shares a title with this post—is designed to allow you to run an abbreviated game, closer to 90 minutes than the 3-ish hours of the regular game. Next, based on the aforementioned playtest feedback there is a change to how the Aces work based on whether your tag team is working face or heel. It doesn't change much of the gameplay loop, but does balance things more evenly across the standard distribution of cards, and the prompt sequence. In practical terms this just makes a few labels make a bit more sense, and isn't going to change much of your play experience. Lastly, there are some line edits that make a few parts of the text read a little more clearly! Beyond that, the game feels really fun to play. I'm optimistic about the state of the play experience, and I'm pretty sure with a scoche more feedback, the game is almost ready to go to a copy editor and layout artist.
